Substack

I’ve been a visual art appreciator for a while, and art criticism is a form that is, it could be argued, one of the most creative and challenging forms of writing. Put together writing and art and I’m in bliss land.

But I’m finding art being described in slightly predictable, inaccessible, and ideological ways. So, I started a substack called A Fresh Take: One Art Piece at a Time in order to freshen things up in the world of art criticism with the occasional essay on art.
